Addition to this I babysit in my spare time, I have looked after many children/families in the evenings or daytime babysitting. I enjoy the outdoors and love find new places for children to gain experiences as I feel it’s important for them to learn new things.
My Experience
I have over eight years of hands-on experience in nurseries, working with children from as young as 3 months up to 5 years old, which strengthened my ability to adapt to different developmental stages and needs. I have knowledge on baby weaning, potty training, teething and sleep support.
During my time in nurseries, I pursued further study and achieved a Level 5 qualification as a practitioner, some training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Makaton, enabling me to provide inclusive, supportive care and communication for all children.
I have experience with household chores, of cleaning, washing and have great skills in organising especially toys or any household items/areas.
I have a very creative mind and love creating fun and educational activities. I have extensive knowledge on the EYFS and child development to support children in their developmental stages.
Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience
Extensive training and hands?on experience supporting deaf and partially sighted children, with a strong focus on adapting communication methods, learning environments, and resources to meet individual needs. Worked collaboratively with additional needs agencies to develop tailored support plans that promote inclusion, independence, and meaningful progress for each child. Partnered closely with speech and language therapists, using their guidance to design and deliver targeted activities that strengthen communication skills and deepen professional understanding. Confident in creating structured interventions, monitoring progress, and adjusting strategies to ensure every learner receives effective, personalised support.
