Hello! My name is Evie, and I live in Clapham, West Sussex with my partner and our 3-year-old daughter. Our home is surrounded by nature: our garden backs onto a field of horses, and the end of our road opens up to Clapham Woods — perfect for exploring, playing, and learning outdoors.
We’re conveniently located just a 7-minute drive from Tesco Extra in Durrington, close to Angmering, and near the A27 for easy access.
My Experience
I have nine years’ experience working with children of various ages, particularly 2–4 years, in both nurseries and preschools. I also have experience supporting children with special educational needs.
My career journey began as an apprentice, and I progressed to Room Manager, then Deputy/Acting Manager. I’ve also worked in school holiday clubs and done babysitting prior to having my daughter.
I hold a Level 1 Introduction to Forest School qualification and have experience working alongside a Forest School Lead. I plan to continue this outdoors-based learning at Little Acorns, taking advantage of the nearby woods.
I am calm, gentle, warm, and have a great sense of humour — and I truly love making a positive impact on children’s lives.
About Little Acorns...
My home-from-home environment is warm, safe, and welcoming. The childminding room is Woodland-themed, with a wide range of toys and resources for children to self-select and support their learning through play.
The garden is full of fun outdoor activities, including:
*Mud kitchen
*Trampoline
*Outdoor sensory trays
*Plenty of space to explore
*I also have a mini-preschool setup with fun, educational activities designed to support early learning and development, helping children explore, play, and grow at their own pace.
I use my ongoing experience with the EYFS to track children’s development and tailor activities to their individual needs.
