My Summary

My Experience

Before my role in Rutland, I was a live-in Nanny for B1 and G3 in London. My role consisted of attending groups and playdates, including nursery duties such as batch cooking, organising toys and laundry and accompanying the family on trips. I also have experience proxy parenting in all my nanny roles.

Prior to being a live-in Nanny I worked in a boarding school for children with Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). This role was not dissimilar to a nanny role, but on rather a larger scale! I organised activities and completed risk assessments for these, had care of the children overnight and in the morning before school and liaised with both parents and professionals regarding the care of my pupils. This was a role I thoroughly enjoyed and I feel gave me some solid foundations to proceed with Nannying.

Alongside my degree I worked with several agencies as a supply Learning Assistant. This has allowed me to work with children of all ages, but mainly primary. I have also had the amazing opportunity to work in SEN schools, including one to one help for children with Autism, ADHD and communication difficulties.

My Qualifications

I have a BA Honours degree in Teaching and Learning SEN.

My Availability

Please see my detailed availability. My availability differs during the school holidays as I work a reduced timetable and would be able to offer different or extended hours with notice. Additionally I would be open to occasional weekend or proxy parenting work upon discussion, also I would be available for extra evenings if it worked alongside my current family.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.50 per hour (gross)

I would be able to offer a reduced rate for all nanny share hours upon discussion.
