About Me
Hello, my name is Scarlett. I am 25 years old. I have not long moved to Maerdy from West Sussex. Send me a text or an email if you wish to discuss anything further! I am currently working self employed under NHS in North Devon. I have spent the last 7 years working in care on and off. I have a Level 3 Health and Social Care NVQ. Whilst at college I did placement in a nursery. I have a lot of non-professional experience with younger children and babies. I have a very big family and am one of 5 so have spent the majority of my life around children and babies. In my teens I did a lot of babysitting for family, my siblings and for family friends. I helped raise my two younger siblings. I started caring for them full time at the age of 14 until I moved out at 22. I am happy to support with household help, babysitting and pet sitting services. I like to think I have a good sense of humour and am a kind and caring person. I am trustworthy and reliable and could assure you that your children would be in incredibly safe hands whilst in my care. My Experience
I have experience working with children, although this is not qualified experience. I studied level 3 health and social care at college and left with an NVQ. Whilst at college I did work experience in a school with 3/4 year olds. I am one of 5 so have plenty of experience in looking after young children. I have looked after my younger siblings since I was 14. Whilst at school I spent my free time helping my mum care for my younger siblings and other young children as she was a childminder for many years. Last year I worked at a Day Centre for Adults with learning disabilities so have some experience and understanding of this sector. I also work in emergency care now which has broadened my adult care experience massively.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 NVQ in health and social care, and studied child development at GCSE level and left school with grade C. I have completed my care certificate twice.
My Availability
At the moment I am looking for ad hoc work to do whilst I’m home.
I do have availability when I’m in North Devon either over night care between 10/10:30pm - 6/6:30am or some time for household help between 2-3:30pm

I live in maerdy, so if I am needed to travel further out of this area then I may ask for mileage costs.
