About Me
Hello I’m Carrie, I’m an Ofsted registered Childminder living in Honiton.
My aim as a childminder is to provide a quality childcare service that meets the individual needs of the child and their family. I want to support every child to work within their own interests, strengths and abilities to help them develop and learn.
I am an active person and like to access the wider community with regular outings to local parks and other local attractions. I think it is very important for children to spend time outside so we will have lots of fun walking in the woods, taking trips to the beach to paddle our toes and seeing what we can find on treasure hunts in the park. I also have a large garden with a safe, enclosed decked area so we can enjoy being outside every day.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a teaching assistant, for over twenty years and have been childminding for the last 6 years. I have looked after children in many different roles throughout my career. I have significant experience with children with additional needs.
I provide care based around the individual, using their interests and ideas in planning the activities we follow

GCSE Child Development
GNVQ in providing Health and Social Care
Level 2 Safeguarding
Paediatric First Aid
Delivering EYFS
My Availability
I have spaces becoming available from February half term Tuesday and Wednesday Please contact me for more information.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge per £6.00 per hour and this includes healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day. It also includes any activities that we do, or trips we attend.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Honiton Primary School
