Full Time Nanny Job In Dalkeith
About Me
we are a hardworking family of 5
twin 7.5 year old girls
13 year old boy
My Requirements
We are looking for a warm and friendly after school nanny, ideally looking for a long term nanny
We have 3 children, twin 7 year old girls and a 13 year old boy.
Term Time: 3pm to 8-9pm
this will include collecting from school and taking to various activities
School holidays: hours flexible and can be mutually agreed in advance.
The twins love dancing, and craft, they are easy to entertain. The 13 year old loves playing football and computer games. We are looking for someone that is having a calm, approachable adult around for him: someone who can check in, offer support, share the occasional meal or board game, and build a natural, trusting relationship over time.
The role will include light tidying related to the children, after-school care in a relaxed home environment, helping everyone wind down after the school day, encouraging a balance of homework, downtime, and shared activities, preparing snacks and simple meals (often together). This will also include taking the children to after school activities and clubs most days.
We would love our nanny to genuinely enjoy working with teens and children. Someone warm, emotionally aware, and confident without being overly strict, happy to give space while staying present and supportive, reliable, organised, and easy to communicate with.
We are hoping to find someone who will feel comfortable in our home and become a trusted, positive presence for our children as they grow. If you’re someone who enjoys conversation, quiet companionship, and supporting teenagers, at the same time as girly 7 year old girls we would really love to hear from you.
A clean driving licence is required, we have a family car which will be provide for use with the children. There is free parking at the family home.
We do have the option for live in nanny or live out.
