I have been married for 26 years and have 2 grown up children. I enjoy craft activities, singing in a choir, dancing and spending time with my family. I work for two franchise companies selling candles and also one for craft activities and enjoy demonstrating my business at events and at home. I also enjoy keeping children entertained at parties with my craft activities.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for 24 years on and off. I am currently working as a childminder assistant and have OFSTED EY 2 registration. I also assist in a breakfast and after school club.
My previous experience includes being a teaching assistant working with children with special educational needs including ADHD and autism. I have been a childcare manager in a nursery. I have worked as a relief nursery assistant in 3 nurseries around Derbyshire. I have run a breakfast and afterschool club. I have set up from scratch a parent and toddler group and running it successfully for 4 years.
I am currently working 12 hours over 3 sessions in an office which I’m hoping to resign from soon as my childcare business grows.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare and education and a foundation degree in children and young peoples services.
My Availability
I am available from early morning til 7pm on Monday’s, Wednesday from 9.30-2 and Friday 9.30-2.
