My Experience

My journey into childminding began with a deep love for nature, outdoor play, and the Montessori philosophy, which emphasizes independence, respect, and hands-on learning. I have had the privilege of working in Montessori nurseries, gaining experience with children across various age groups, from babies to preschoolers. During my time in these settings, I developed a deep understanding of how to nurture children’s unique potential, supporting their growth and independence at every stage of development.

In addition to my nursery experience, I have worked as a Montessori nanny for two wonderful families. This role allowed me to provide personalised care and learning opportunities in a home environment, fostering strong bonds with the children and tailoring activities to suit their individual interests and needs.

While I have cherished my time as both a nanny and a nursery practitioner, becoming a parent has inspired me to embark on a new journey. With all the knowledge and experience I’ve gathered over the years, I have decided to create my own home-based Montessori setting. This allows me to provide the same enriching and nurturing environment I’ve offered to other families while balancing the needs of my own child. I am excited to welcome other children into this space, where they can explore, learn, and grow in a calm and inspiring environment designed just for them.

Our child, Aiden, joined our family in June 2024 and has brought so much joy into our lives. Watching him grow and explore the world has deepened my passion for early childhood development and inspired me to create a Montessori setting that blends my professional expertise with the nurturing, home-centered approach I now value so deeply.

My Availability

Tuesday to Thursday, 8 am to 6pm full time, all year

My Fees

• Childminding from £7.00 per hour

£70 day full time 8am to 6pm
