About Me
Hello! My name is Ashleigh and I have been working with children, both personally and professionally for the past 6 years! I began by watching my younger siblings and neighbours children; I then completed my Level 2 Childcare qualification in college and started working in nurseries/ schools and babysitting children within the Epsom area.
Over the last few years, I have worked with children between new born and 11 years. If the weather is nice, I like to take the children out to the park to feed the ducks and wildlife, engage in water play, cycling or enjoy the local scenery (seeing what cool treasures we can find).
If the weather isn’t so nice then I like to whip out my artistic skills and come up with some fun games that also encourage development such teaching them how to design and fold their own paper aeroplanes or creating a picture and allowing them to paint each section by number.
In my free time I love gardening, writing, reading, roller skating and baking.
My Experience
I have completed my level 2 qualification with Nescot College June 2019 and worked Fridays in Asquith day nursery with 2-3 year olds. I have also worked within Shapes day nursery in Epsom. I have experience with children between new born and 11 years.
I have tutored children with learning difficulties such as dyslexia between the ages of 7-9 in English and have worked with children who struggle with anxiety. I am a regular babysitter for a family with one child and in the past I have babysat for multiple families, one of which had five children aged between 3 and 8 years.

One of the best babysitters we had. Very energetic and enthusiastic about play and still manage to ensure homework is done and dinner is eaten. Cannot recommend high enough.
