I’m an experienced and enthusiastic childcare professional currently working as a Room Leader in a nursery, with a strong background in both early years education and one-to-one care. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn through play, exploration, and routine. I’m confident supporting children of all abilities and pride myself on being warm, reliable, and highly engaged with the children in my care.
My Experience
Alongside my nursery role, I have extensive experience as a babysitter and nanny, caring for children of varying ages in home settings. This has included supporting daily routines, school runs, meal preparation, bedtime routines, and age-appropriate activities tailored to each child’s individual needs. Working across both nursery and private settings has given me a well-rounded understanding of child development, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
In addition, I have significant personal experience supporting children with special educational needs. My brother has cerebral palsy, and from a young age I have been actively involved in his care, including assisting with personal care, communication support, mobility needs, and emotional regulation. This experience, alongside my professional SEN training and nursery work, has given me strong confidence, patience, and understanding when working with children with additional needs, ensuring they feel supported, included, and empowered.

I currently hold a Bachelor degree in Photography, Level 3 in childcare and a Level 1 in Makaton,

Preferably looking for Full time or around 35-40 hours
