I am a registered childminder, a mum to two grown up children and have worked within a local primary and secondary school as an assistant to the SENCO and have been in charge of a team of 30 LSAs, as well as being a Pastoral Manager for years 10 and 11. I have worked within a healthcare setting in central London. I live 2 minutes from the platform (literally) at Eltham Station with my husband, 2 Children and our very well behaved dogs. I have a garden and live within walking distance to St Mary’s RC, Roper Street, Gordon school and Playwell and St Luke’s pre-schools. My home is a home from home setting, where children will be taken out for various activities, including bug hunting, baby and toddler groups, musical activities and much more. Indoors there will be arts and crafts, literacy and numeracy based activities all in line with the EYFS learning through play.
I have lots of experience with children from birth right through to 18 including SEND, autism, Downs Syndrome, ADHD speech and language difficulties and behaviour issues. I have a CACHE level 3 in Home Based Childcare Award. I have also completed NVQ level 2 and 3 of supporting and assisting children at school, a degree in education. I am Phonics trained (Ruth Miskin Literacy) and will be following the EYFS.
Paediatric First Aid
CACHE level 3 in Home based Childcare
Food Hygiene Certificate
RML Phoincs trained
Level 2 and 3 in supporting children within the classroom
Many more SEND and education based qualifications available for any parent to see.
I currently have 2 spaces available for before and after school. I collect/pick up from Eltham CofE (Roper Street school) or the Gordon Primary. I have one full time vacancy.

My daughter has been going to Rebecca for 5 weeks now and took to Rebecca from the first time she met her (Usually my daughter will not be left with anyone).
Rebecca is such a kind and caring woman and can’t do enough to help! She has been so kind to us and I feel so lucky to have found her! She also has lots of years of experience looking after her own children Who are now grown up and also other people’s children too which really makes me feel at ease as she knows what she’s doing.
She is constantly doing activities and and taking my daughter out and about and my daughter always has good stories to tell me after being with Rebecca!
She has dogs and they are literally the most loving and well behaved dogs I’ve ever seen and since going to Rebecca my daughters fear of dogs has slowly gone away!
I can’t fault Rebecca in any way and I am so pleased with the care she gives to my daughter! I can’t sing her praises enough as you can tell!
Our son has been with Rebecca - mainly after school - since Sept 2019 but it feels like we've known her longer.
He looks forward to seeing her every week and her communication is brilliant, keeping us regularly updated with what he has been up to whilst with her. If our daughter wasn't already settled in at her nursery we would happily move to Rebecca's care, we couldn't recommend her enough!
My son had been going to Rebecca's for 6 months now and loves it. Rebecca is very caring and he looks forward to spend time with her. She has loads of experience in working with children. During Half Terms they always go out to play groups, sport centres, parks and other fun activities. She’s been very accommodating to our needs as working parents and helps us if we need an early start/finish. We don’t have any pets so it’s great that Rebecca has dogs and my son has an opportunity to play with them. Great experience.
