About Me

Hello parents,

My name is Kendall Gideon and thank you for taking an interest in my profile.
I have worked with children/in education for 8 years now and am currently working in an Ofsted rated outstanding primary school, catering to children of all age groups from babies/early years (0-5) right up to teenage years (13-15). Also working and supporting children with a wide range of differential needs such as Dyslexia, Autism and EAL. I also have a great depth of understanding on the national curriculum so I can include activities that are interlinked with this. I have a real passion for children, I'm very maternal and creative. I enjoy getting to know each unique child on a personal level and building bonds. Making own choices, letting them explore their own interests, encouraging them to develop their own personality and style and artistic role play are some of the things I consider a great importance towards a child's development as these skills are the foundation for every child and their future life stages and also links in with their social, emotional and educational needs. I can provide the opportunities and support for them to gain these skills.

Three words I would use best to describe myself are trustworthy, compassionate and fun. I believe that providing a safe and happy environment is essential. I hold an up to date DBS certificate, paediatric first aid certificate and have been on several in house training programmes some of which are; dyslexia, epi-pen, asthma, child protection, safe guarding and restorative justice and always keep an open mind to any child related training that may be advertised to broaden my knowledge.

It would be my pleasure to answer any of your questions or quires you may have so please do not hesitate to contact me. I would love to have the opportunity to assist you and your family.

***Depending on distance, number of children and expectations hourly rate may vary.
