I am a qualified, experienced, warm, fun nanny who has cared for children from newborn to teens for many, many years — so have extensive experience of a child’s development, across all age groups. I am also a parent of two, nanna to one, god-mother, and auntie Junie to many :)

My Experience
Currently a mothers-help to mum and dads ever so cute now 7 month old (since he was around 14 weeks). It's been amazing seeing him grow, develop and reach different milestones so far — including now crawling (soon to be walking!!). He’s such a happy, funny, loving little boy, who is extremely inquisitive, determined and full of character. A complete joy!
For one afternoon a week I also look after a now almost 3yo, who I have cared for since he was 5 months old. I’ve supported him and his parents through many important milestones; including the teething, weaning, and walking stages (to name a few) — potty training is imminent! He is kind, caring, and so helpful! He loves being outside and running around, so we visit Holland Park, and all other local parks in West London, all year round. He is now attending nursery a few days a week, which he loves.
Now casual after-school nanny to very active, inquisitive, energetic 8yo twins (boy and girl), since 6+yo. I was responsible for taking them to separate weekly activities, homework support, preparing healthy meals and snacks — alongside other general routines relating to the children. We also visit the park regularly, and the library is a great addition during the winter months. Being conscious, energetic, and having a sense of fun has been a must, and riding a micro-scooter or bicycle alongside them has helped with travelling between school and home etc.
I spent 4+ years looking after my last 2 boys who at the time were almost 4yo and 2yo — they are now 8yo and 6yo, and have recently moved out of London for the next chapter of their lives. We plan to keep in touch and meet up whenever they visit. Outside of their schedules and general nanny tasks, we had a lot of fun — from adventurous walks and story telling, to board games, lego, cards, camps, pillow fights (their fav)… and much much more! I helped the younger one learn to climb, encouraged him to ride his scooter, and generally helped build confidence in both of them overall (they were initially a little shy and reserved). Being part of their journeys and lives for 4+ years was an absolute joy, so they’ll always be extra special.
I thoroughly enjoy what I do, and seeing children laugh, grow and thrive is the best part. Listening, encouragement, enthusiasm, and giving them the space for free expression and play goes a long way in building confidence. A hug helps too if they’re feeling sad!

Junie has been with our family since our son was 4 months old. She is warm, patient and very professional - our son is a real spirited boy (now 8 months) and can be quite a challenge but Junie‘s presence is a really good influence and they have a lovely connection! She is an enormous help to our family and we all see her as a real blessing! I would highly recommend. It’s a real gift to know that our son is really well taken care of when we’re not there - thank you Junie :)

Junie watched our son who was 4-5months old. Did a great job soothing him to sleep, gave him a bottle, and was super easy to communicate with. Its always reassuring to have a babysitter who has children herself and we'd highly recommend Junie to all parents with young children.

Junie is our after school nanny since the past year, looking after my twins aged 7. Junie has a wonderful bond with the children that developed organically & gives me peace when I am at work, knowing she creates a “family” like setting when I am not there. Junie is a good communicator and keeps me updated if there are any matters that I need to know about. She is also very experienced around children, being a mother herself, she is confident making her own independent decisions. Junie is genuine, calm kind & always professional. She has fun with the children but also firm when required. I trust her fully.

Such a lovely review Anna — thank you lots! A year already!!! How time flys… The twins have a zest-for-life, and their inquisitive minds always bring a new topic for us to talk about :) They have kept me on my toes, my bicycle, and my scooter the past year, so its been fun!! ;-)
Junie was a nanny to our 10 month old son for about 3 days a week over
the course of 5 months.
We consider ourselves blessed that we found Junie because from the
start, she was so warm, friendly and caring to us and most
importantly, to our son. Junie is an amazing person and has wonderful
energy. Our son (Isaac) absolutely adores Junie and his face lights up
whenever he sees her walk through our door.
Junie is a mother to 2 daughters and so she naturally has that
'motherly' touch and that attention to detail that really puts her in
the top league. For example, she always knew the right items to bring
with her on walks with Isaac, always knew the best ways to comfort
Isaac and was very attentive and precise with his food and sleep
times. She really did become a part of our family and it gave my wife
and I so much peace of mind to know that our son was so well cared
for.
Junie really did so much for Isaac's development too in terms of
reading to him, playing with him and taking him for lovely, long
walks.

We've been fantastically lucky to have Junie working with us as an after-school nanny for the last 2 1/2 years, since our boys were 2 and 4 (in nursery and reception). She's caring, fun, willing to play a surprising variety of games (playfighting with cushions features high on the list), completely reliable, exactly as strict as she needs to be when she needs to be, and now dearly beloved by my sons. You really couldn't ask for anything more. She is also a very clear and thoughtful communicator.
We're keyworkers and throughout the lockdowns (when legally allowed) she carried on picking up the boys from nursery school, despite the obvious infection risk that small children of that age inevitably posed, and the claims of her own studies. At the moment she's focussing on her exams and so we aren't seeing as much of her -- we miss her very much.
