My Summary

My Experience

For the past 8+ months I’ve been mothers-help and nanny to a now 11mo, and initially also her 3yo sibling, who loved imaginative play and evening bath-times. I’ve provided support with all baby care, including nap times, nappy changes, feeding, helping with routines and engaging in play. I prepare meals and snacks and keep the communal and play spaces tidy, and also help out with light household tasks, and accompany on school runs—all as part of the normal family routine.

Before this I was mothers-help and nanny to mum and dads ever so cute 2yo (in July 25)—since he was around 16 weeks. It was wonderful watching him develop. From crawling to walking, discovering his personality, and expressing himself in his own ways. Always curious and cheerful, he adored the park and trains—and proudly saying “choo-choo” and “ball.” I loved every moment with him. Miss him lots!

Prior, I was nanny to now 4yo in June 25, since he was 5 months old. I supported him and his parents through many important milestones; including teething, weaning, walking, talking, and potty training. He enjoyed being outdoors, so we visited local parks throughout the year. With him starting nursery school in September 2025, I already know how much I’ll miss his kind, loving, and sweet-natured presence.

Previously, after-school nanny to very inquisitive, energetic, 8yo twins (since 6+yo) — I was responsible for taking them to various weekly activities, assisting with homework, and preparing healthy meals and snacks. I also dealt with bedtime routines, and on occasional overnight stays. We visited the park regularly, and the library was a favourite, especially during the winter months. Being attentive, energetic, and fun-loving was essential, so I often joined them in riding a micro-scooter or bicycle to travel between school and home. Ensuring they were always aware of road safety and other hazards along the way was key.

I spent 4+ years as an after school nanny and babysitter for P & R, who at the time were almost 4yo and 2yo. Outside of their schedules and general nanny tasks, we had a lot of fun — from adventurous walks and story telling, to board games, lego, cards, camps, and pillow fights (their fav!). A little shy and cautious about stepping out of their comfort zones, I supported and encouraged them to climb, ride a scooter and bicycle, and generally helped build their confidence.

They’ve since moved out of London to begin the next chapter of their lives, so it was such a treat to hear from them and receive letters once they’d settled in! It was an absolute joy to be part of their journeys and lives, which is why they’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

I love what I do! The best part is seeing children laugh, grow, and thrive. Listening, encouragement, enthusiasm, and providing space for free expression and play are key to building their confidence. A hug also helps when they're feeling sad!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

•Nannying and Babysitting from £18.00 per hour.
Babysitting negotiable based on responsibilities etc.

•Fees may be a little higher for multiple children, but this is also negotiable.

•Trial days over 1 hour, hourly rate paid.

Other:

•A fee/percentage applies for no/short-notice cancellations.

•Notice period up to 2 weeks
