Hi my name is Emma, I live in Ottery st mary East Devon. My husband and I used to live in Exeter and Cornwall for 5 years and our daughter Thea is 2 1/2 years old. I enjoy walking, singing in a choir and seeing friends and family and sharing my faith.
My Experience
I have looked after children most of my life since the age of 16 years old when I started babysitting. I have 18 years experience with 0-25 year olds in a wide range of different contexts like private day nurseries for eight years ,pre-schools,volunteer work, plenty of SEND experience with teenagers in a Academy school and school holiday respite care working for a charity. Other schools work, after school clubs, church youth clubs and youth /family camps. I was a children’s and family worker at two churches for four years 2014-2018.Running Sunday groups like messy church and volunteering in the primary school to read with children. I have worked at a few different private day Nurseries all over the UK with 0-4 years olds between 2007-2014. I have volunteered in a pre-schools for two years before 2014-2016 ,brownies and ran parent and toddler groups in two churches for four years 2014-2018..Worked for Action for children Cornwall Space charity providing short breaks to families with SEND children 2019-2022.Currently working part time Tuesday and Wednesday with asylum seeking children as a support worker since October 2022- present. My DBS is up to date on the updating system until September 2024.
From July I am unavailable Thursdays until September I am privately Nannying.

BTEC National Diploma in Early year’s level Three awarded in 2007

BA Hons In Applied Theology, Children, Families and Community work rewarded 2:1 in 2018.
