About Me
Hello, I am Lauren a 27 year old woman and I live in Neston. I have been looking after children since I was 11 years old helping my mum, as I have siblings of an age gap of both 11 and 14 years- this meant prepping bottles at the age of 14 for newborn twins and a toddler. I started work experience at age 15 for two weeks in a local nursery and then moved on to gain my NVQ2 after A levels at age 18, I worked for my last nursery for over a year in the toddler room ages 14m-22m were I had key children and had to plan daily activities to further their development. At age 21 I had a change in career and became a support worker looking after adults with vulnerable needs and learning disabilities, such as autism, ADHD and personality disorders. The service users that I support are in their 20’s and exhibited challenging behaviour, this also means administration of medication. I do not drive so location is limited but I am more than happy to get public transport. I became a mummy myself in March 2023 and I am a proud God mother to two beautiful little girls.

My Experience
I am a NVQ level 2 qualified nursery practitioner with a full DBS, I have a level 3 in Health and Social Care. I worked at my last nursery for over a year in the toddler room, ages ranged 14m-22m, however I have worked with all ages 0m-5y. Due to me working within a childcare setting I am familiar with the EYFS and how to develop a child’s learning using Ofsted regulations and guidance. I have worked also with both adults and children with special needs, so I am able to provide care to those with learning difficulties, such as autism, ADHD; etc.

GCSE- Child Development.
NVQ level 2 qualified nursery practitioner.
Level 3 Health and Social Care.
100% on Medication training.
Full DBS.
