My Summary
About Me
I am a Level 3 qualified childcare professional with over nine years of experience working in nursery settings and as a private nanny. Childcare is not just my job, it is genuinely my passion. I truly love being part of a child’s journey and seeing them grow in confidence, develop new skills and reach milestones, both big and small.
I am calm, patient, organised and reliable, and I naturally create a structured yet warm environment where children feel safe, understood and supported. I believe that consistency and routine help children thrive, but just as importantly, I believe in kindness, emotional security and building strong, trusting relationships.
I have extensive sole-charge experience caring for multiple children, including twins and children with additional needs such as ADHD and autism. I understand how important it is to tailor care to each child’s individual personality, developmental stage and emotional needs. Supporting children with emotional regulation, building independence and helping them feel confident in themselves is something I take great pride in.
Seeing the children I care for grow into happy, secure and confident individuals is the most rewarding part of my work. I feel incredibly proud to play a meaningful role in their development and daily lives.
My Experience
Over the past several years, I have worked in long-term private nanny roles caring for three children at a time, including within a private family with a high-level professional background. I have full sole-charge responsibility, managing daily routines, school runs, homework support, activity planning and preparing nutritious meals.
I have strong experience supporting children with ADHD and autism, providing structured routines and tailored strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour. I maintain clear communication with parents and schools to ensure consistency and stability.
Prior to nannying, I worked as a Nursery Practitioner and Second in Charge at Dicky Birds Nursery, where I followed the EYFS framework, completed observations and ensured safeguarding, health and safety standards were upheld at all times.
