Senior early year’s professional with over 30 years’ experience across childminding, Nanning, Early years consultancy, Family & Behaviour Consultant and workforce development. Ofsted-registered with multiple outstanding outcomes.
Specialist in EYFS, safeguarding, SEND, quality improvement, and inspection readiness. Experienced in mentoring practitioners, advising settings, and delivering high-quality early years education from newborn to 16 years.
Based in Broadstone, I run a nurturing, child-focused childcare setting and Supporting me is my husband, Paul, who holds an Early Years Level 3 qualification, Paediatric First Aid, and Level 3 Safeguarding training. As a Health & Safety consultancy business owner, he brings additional expertise to ensure our setting is safe & well-organised.
Together, we provide families with confidence that their children are cared for to the highest standards.
I provide a fun, nurturing environment with a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities that support children’s learning and development. Through play-based experiences and educational opportunities, children are encouraged to grow as confident individuals. Regular outings include toddler groups, local parks, indoor play areas, and trips to forests and Farm Park’s, where children enjoy the benefits of fresh air, nature, and gentle walks outdoors.
Each child is supported through an individual learning journal that tracks progress across the seven EYFS areas of learning, helping to prepare them for nursery and school while developing essential life skills. I hold multiple Early Years qualifications, am DBS checked and registered on the update service, trained in Paediatric First Aid, higher-level safeguarding, and SENCO Coordinator. I have also completed extensive additional training related to early years practice, and strong references from families are available on request.

Registered with Ofsted since 1996, with over 30 years’ experience in childcare and early years education, working with children from newborn to 16 years. Achieved Outstanding outcomes in three Ofsted inspections. Extensive experience supporting families, including maternity nanny roles and sole-charge care for newborns, with a strong focus on sleep routines, feeding, daily structure, and early development for children aged 0–5.
Highly experienced in supporting children with additional and complex needs, including ADHD, behavioural needs, dyslexia, speech and language delay, and SEN. A parent of four adult children, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience to my practice.

My Availability
Due to a change in circumstances 2x Childminding vacancies have come available from March 2026.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees include a wide range of outings, toddler groups, and occasional trips, giving children lots of opportunities to socialise, explore, and learn through real-life experiences. I am a self-employed childcare provider and accept Tax-Free Childcare. Funded places are also available for eligible 9-month-olds, and 2, 3, and 4-year-olds, in line with current government funding.
