Nanny / Mothers Help Required For Sen Child
About Me
I am returning to finish my midwifery degree and need childcare for shift work
My Requirements
I am looking for childcare for my SEN son. I think splitting this into 2 separate roles may be easier to fill. If you are interested in either role please let me know.
TERM TIME ONLY:
My son attends the Resourced Provision at Grange Community Primary in Winsford and currently attends after school club but I need help getting him to school in the morning as I leave for work at 6.15am. I need attendance at our home from 7am when my partner leaves for work, until school drop off at 8.30am including transport to school, 3 shifts a week maximum (or 4.5 hours a week) in this time support with morning routine will be needed. Required: Full clean driving licence and appropriate insurance, training and preferably experience with autistic children. The ability to build a strong relationship with my son and be extremely reliable. Flexibility of days that fits with the shifts for that week will be needed. Payment and reimbursement negotiable.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ONLY:
I also need all school holiday care for 3 shifts a week maximum. My days are 15 hours long but drop off and pick up can be with my partner, so a 7am til 5pm, (maximum 30 hours a week). In this time 3 meals and support in daily routine will be needed. Required: Full clean driving licence and appropriate insurance, training and preferably experience with autistic children. The ability to build a strong relationship with my son and be extremely reliable. Flexibility of days that fits with the shifts for that week will be needed. Payment and reimbursement negotiable.
My son is 7 and loves animals, sensory play, the park, dinosaurs, most activities. His current special interests are Ninjago, Pokémon cards, Lego.
He needs declarative speech rather than commands and some support regulating emotions but is very chatty and happy with one to one support. He is a sweet and caring boy who needs a bit of patience and lots of fun. He has some sensory processing difficulties and can struggle in busy noisy environments but manages day to day very well.
I need someone reliable and able to provide the support we need for me to finish my midwifery studies. Ofsted registered, Sen experience would be helpful but not essential. Flexible days required dependant on shift pattern. A car and full clean driving license. Insurance, enhanced DBs etc.
To start asap.

Georgia came to my aid at short notice for a couple of days childcare when an alternative let me down. She is punctual, professional and capable. She looked after my 6 year old little boy with ASD and I was very confident leaving him with her. She took everything in her stride and I would recommend her and will use her again if the need arises. Thank you Georgia!
