Welcome to my page, I’m Milly and my childminding business is under little ladybirds childminding.
I hope you find all the information you need but please if I’ve missed anything then do feel free to get in contact and I shall endeavour to answer all questions.



I am a childminder in the Tilehurst area of Reading and I am close to purley.
As someone who has been in childcare for over 20 years in a range of different settings from private Nanny to working in a preschool I feel I have gained a lot of knowledge especially had lots of experience in the early years, this helps me to give the children a childminder who really enjoy the job. I like to have lots of fun by making sure there is a stimulating environment for the children I care for.I also have two children of my own but who are now 10&11 years old and feel I can not only give a professional approach to my job but an understanding of what parents feel when leaving their precious children in childcare, which is why I pride myself on making bonds and relationships with the families I look after.

I really enjoy working with the children in my care and I really work hard to provide the children with stimulating learning opportunities that reflect their age and stage of development. I treat each child as an individual and treat them with care, empathy and respect as this helps them grow and develop.
This is why I love to provide a gentle approach but set boundaries so the children can thrive in my care and hopefully build bonds to help them achieve their fullest potential .

I have lots of fun activities to help the children develop and learn at the same time while having fun and build those neural pathways with messy play, have lots of free play allowing children to make their own decisions and build independent skills. Having a range of toys for each stage of their development to build fine and gross motor skills, their language and social skills. I shall track each child’s progress and development and follow the EYFS.
I run my setting professionally, attending training opportunities, respecting confidentiality, keeping organised records in accordance with current guidelines.
I have clear policies and procedures, I am committed to providing a reliable service that parents can depend on.
