My Requirements

Our current nanny/babysitter is sadly moving onto a new job in a couple of months so we need someone new.

Regular work-
Monday 1pm-8pm
Thursday 2pm-8pm
Friday 8am-3pm/Sunday 1pm-8pm
(20 hours weekly)

Adhoc-
There may be times when we need some extra childcare - this won’t be expected, but it’s just to let you know that additional hours may occasionally be available.

Added bonus but not essential -
We would like some tutor time for our boys.
Our eldest has (undiagnosed but in the process of) ADHD and he struggles with staying on task/gets distracted easily, so it would require someone with patience and understanding. We are happy for him to learn at his own pace and there is no pressure from us.
Our 4 year old LOVES learning and would take any learning time he can get.
Our 2 year old is very clever but also like our eldest with swapping activities etc.

Our boys are very energetic, so they need constant stimulation/entertaining. We are not a ‘no screens family’ but we do try to steer them away from them as much as possible.
They love the outdoors and playing different games, especially arts&crafts/messy play. We are lucky enough to have a nature reserve right outside our garden gate - so wellies are a must!

Ideally I’m looking for someone to be “mothers help”, we’re very hands on parents but sometimes we could do with an extra set of hands or a break!
My husband works in his office (in our garden) 4-8.30pm 6 days a week as well as a couple of hours in the morning, so it may be sole care of the children or helping along side me.
I would really appreciate someone to help me keep on top of the household tasks. Dinner for the children or nursery lunches made, beds changed, clothes put away, things like that would be very helpful.
With young children around we do not expect a sparkling house (it would be impossible!!) but we would like to have someone who can use their initiative and do odd things as they go along - if time and the children allow!

Our boys have a variety of hobbies, clubs, and interests, which means I’m often in and out driving them around. As they get older and their schedules get busier, some of these activities may overlap, so we’d like someone who can drive and has their own car to help with drop-offs and collections when needed.

We’re hoping to find someone who can become a part of our family - someone who takes the time to get to know our routine, our home, and the way we do things.

If you’re looking for additional hours and have teaching qualifications, there may be opportunities for tutoring as well. My husband and I run an education company that offers online tutoring, so please do enquire if you’re interested but would like more work.
