About Me
We are a fairly relaxed family, living in an apartment in the Kew Bridge / Brentford area. We have a Daughter born February 2022 (who is autistic) who attends nursery and a son (born October 2018) who attends school in Kew. My son is extremely sociable, my daughter takes a little longer to warm up but is equally as loving.
My Requirements
I am due to have an operation in January 2026, we are looking for someone to slowly start prior to Christmas, however, we’d be happy to hold out until January for the right person. Someone with initiative and a can-do attitude is very important.
During recovery from my operation (which will take about 3 months) I’d like someone who can help with the children as well as around the flat doing light household chores. We do have a cleaner once a week but need help with general daily cleaning and tidying, cooking, washing clothes, ironing, dishwasher loading / unloading, making / changing children’s beds, hoovering, organising, running any errands, after school club activities etc. not every day will include all of this. There will be some walking within the role as my son’s school is a 20minute walk / short bus ride and my daughter’s nursery is a further 20min walk / short bus ride. You will also take the children to after school clubs and my daughter to speech and language therapy as well as assisting with any other appointments she may have.
We are open to how many days / times you are available. Also happy for someone to help with a morning routine and then head off to do their own thing / study and be back for the afternoon school and nursery pickups. We are flexible for the right person. We’d love to work with someone on a longer term basis but the hours / requirements would reduce after three months.
Someone who is able to drive would be a bonus as my daughter does attend speech and language therapy which is easier to access via car.

Our son started with Isabella almost a year ago at 10 months old. Isabella’s love for all children in her care and her passion for her career is obvious as soon as you meet her; she isn’t a childminder who switches off once the children have left her setting and this is clear from the messages we receive if our sons’s been unwell or asking after him in general.
We appreciate the fact that Isabella works with parents and is keen to have a follow through from home to her setting, be it with discipline, potty training and development in general. We are given a daily report and photos throughout the day, which is becoming even more appreciated by us as parents now that our son is talking as we can begin chatting with him once home about his day.
Being Ofsted registered, Isabella is also keen to keep children on track with development, and I believe her varied activities help with this. She periodically assesses them against developmental milestones, which has also given us a peace of mind.
Isabella is fun but also authoritative, we feel completely relaxed knowing our son is in safe and loving hands with her and we know he enjoys his days with Isabella and the other children in her care.
