I am a kind and patient nanny who is active and hard-working and I follow a Montessori approach.
I enjoy cooking and baking and I have a general can-do attitude.
I play the piano, sing, and speak some Spanish and French.
I have experience with potty training and cloth nappies.
I can cook healthy meals for all ages (including the parents!)
I encourage plenty of outdoor play, jigsaw puzzles and stories, and avoid screen time entirely (unless the parent specifies otherwise).
My approach is very kind but firm with lots of affection, but I think it's important to adapt to the parents’ approach to ensure the child has consistency.
I am happy to look after more than 1 child as I have looked after siblings on multiple occasions.
I like to build friendships with the parents and have remained friends with families, I hope to find someone who shares this view!
I am available immediately as I have just finished with a family I was with for 3 years.
My Experience
I've been working in childcare for 15 years.
I started as an au pair for 4 years while I was studying, then worked at a childminder's where I learned how to care for babies and toddlers according to the EYFS. I learned how to monitor children's development and progress, and how to plan activities accordingly.
