About Me
My name is Emily, I am 23 a level 6 Early Years Practitioner. I have just travelled around Asia and now I'm very excited to work with a beautiful family. I am available for Nannying and babysitting in the Derbyshire area! I am very passionate about working with children. There isn't anything too silly and I go to long lengths to make children laugh and smile. I am excellent at eating pretend food and carrying out role play activities. I can bring great imagination and I give calming hugs! I have a love for singing and dancing. I love reading stories, I would love to play an important role in a family’s life.
My Experience
I have experience working within various childcare settings. I recently worked as a Nursery Practitioner in a day nursery. I am very dedicated and passionate about working with children and their families. As an Early Years Practitioner, I am practiced in providing infant and baby support. I am particularly proficient in creating fun activities. I have good knowledge of safeguarding as well as the EYFS. As a nursery practitioner, I worked in every room but mainly the toddler room. I regularly changed nappies and supported children with potty and toilet training. I had 12 key children and I enjoyed watching them all develop and grow every day. I have experience with behaviour management and also nap times. I have experience working with older children, I worked as a play worker. I cared for children up to the age of 11 years old. I am confident dropping off/ picking children up from school.
My Qualifications
I studied Early Childhood Studies at the University of Derby gaining a level 6 childcare qualification. I am paediatric first aid trained and hold a DBS certificate. I have completed numerous courses such as safeguarding, health and safety and food hygiene.
