I have undertaken several Nannying roles for families with children ageing between 5-10 years of age. Main responsibilities included assisting and overseeing with home-schooling during term time, making sure all were on their correct calls, work had been done and submitted in time. During the former summer months, activities ranged from cooking and baking to creative tasks and spending the afternoons in the playground. They would be in my sole care for the duration of the day whilst their parents both worked.


CCUSA Perlman Camp Pennsylvania USA Lifeguard and general counsellor June –Aug 2018:

Having achieved my RLSS Lifeguard qualification in February 2018 I was accepted for the role of Lifeguard and a general counsellor at an American summer camp. I thoroughly enjoyed this period which provided me with a range of experience not just in Lifeguarding duties and running activities, but in the general care and responsibility for a group of 12 ten-year-old girls. Several girls had special needs such as ADHD and Aspergers which, although presenting challenges, being able to gain experience in how best to care for them, connect with them, and understand their view of the world, was one of the most rewarding aspects of the whole experience. I was responsible for the day to day care of the girls (waking up, getting ready, ensuring they enough suncream and water for the day, shower time, bedtime) as well as daily water hobby running, as part of my lifeguard duties. These were provided to children between the ages of 7-15, so I am comfortable with a range of ages.

I was employed full time over the summer months of 2019 at this cafe. Duties included front of house waitressing, cleaning, and preparing simple foods

Cotswold Water Parks Catering Assistant South Cerney          July 2017 – September 2017:
I was employed in the catering facilities of a busy water park over the summer of 2017. This was a full-time post over the summer with duties covering serving customers, taking monies and preparing food whilst helping to manage the services of the cafeteria and beach shack. When needed, I also carried out duties within the front of house team including answering phone calls, dealing with customers and handling general queries.

Jacks Café Cirencester Catering Assistant                               September 2017
I was employed part-time for a few weeks at this cafe as the hours at the water park decreased during September 2017. I had hoped this would enable me to work some weekends and holidays, however, the establishment closed in December 2017 and this was not possible. I enjoyed my time there with general duties such as customer service, daily cleaning and taking monies.

Decontaminations room operative Highworth Dental Care Ltd           July – Sept 2016:
I was employed during the summer holidays of 2016 to work in the decontamination room at a busy dental practice. I was responsible for the sterilisation and maintenance of all instruments and equipment to ensure the five working surgeries were fully equipped and able to operate. I had to work as a team, to deadlines and in line with clear and specific guidelines, policies and procedures.
