My Requirements

We are looking for a babysitter to help us on weekends and after school on Fridays (and occasionally other days).

My name is Christine, and I am the mother of 2: my daughter, who is nearly five years and my son, who is 2. We are looking for someone who is experienced with children and is available on a regular basis to help on the weekends (can be Saturday or Sunday). The idea would be to play with the children in an engaging way, read with them, and do activities while Mom and Dad catch up on errands and paperwork. I would ask that you do 45 minutes of homework with my daughter every day that you are with us.

We are based in Victoria / Pimlico. Ideally, you are very nearby!

What is important to us:
- Experience with children this age: you are comfortable with 2-6-year-old children. Primary school teachers are a particularly great fit in our experience.
- Reliability and consistency: you are available at least one day most weekends, and we can make a schedule a few weeks in advance.
- Happy to look after two children: while I might be out with one child at an activity or my son might be napping, often you'd have to look after both. You are comfortable and effective at doing this.
- No phone time; the focus is on the kids and engaged playing.
