About Me
I am mum of a 7 year old boy who has cerebral palsy and 4 year old twin girls in Abingdon
My Requirements
I am looking for someone who would be able to work as part of a small team to provide 1:1 care and support for my bright, busy, delightful son who has cerebral palsy with personal care, blending meals and gastrostomy feeding as well as assisting with homework, reading, play activities and with therapies such as music and taking to horseriding. Physically assisting him transferring in and out of wheelchair and walking frame. Sometime taking care of the girls will be needed if Mum needs to take boy to an appointment.
Full training will be provided.
Hours available-
Monday to Friday 7:15am-8:45am
Monday to Friday 3:00pm-5:30pm
Ideal candidate-
• Would be able to provide a high standard of therapeutic support with a caring and professional approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiasm, initiative and strong attention to detail
• Preferably have some experience of working on a 1:1 basis with children with physical disability
Rates of Pay-
Monday to Friday £15 per hour
Saturday and Sunday £17 per hour.
Bank Holidays £22.50 per hour
