From the very first contact with Amazing Acorns Day Nursery at their open day back in October 2017, I instantly knew that this was the right home from home place for our family. My two boys have come on massively in every aspect of development and their speech has improved so much, they are both no longer the shy child who hides behind others and will confidently stand up and talk in front of everybody.
All the staff are extremely friendly and very approachable and the whole environment feels very welcoming.
The online learning portal ‘Tapestry’ which the nursery uses has also been fantastic and has been a great way for me to see what my children have been up to with the constant daily updates and with what they are learning and achieving. It is also a great way for me to communicate and share things with the team.
I really can’t recommend this nursery enough to any new parents.

As a Teacher myself, finding the right nursery for my two girls was always going to be a challenge. From the first point of contact at Amazing Acorns Day Nursery open day back in October 2017, I instantly knew that this was the right place for our family. The nursery although small in size, makes up for in the amazing care and uninterrupted support they have provided my two girls. The nursery has a real home from home friendly feel, which I absolutely loved and this was important to us when sending our children from a young age.
My eldest daughter has recently left to start in Reception and she has absolutely thrived in this nursery. They have equipped her with the social, emotional and educational skills that she has now. She left nursery a confident, happy and well-rounded individual and as a bonus they taught her how to read and write and be confident in using numbers.
My youngest daughter is currently attending the nursery and she is making excellent progress, we are thrilled! The topics they have covered over the years have inspired both of my girls and it has been lovely that they have been so excited to share their learning with us at home. The online learning portal ‘Tapestry’ has also been fantastic and has been a super way to see what they have been learning and achieving and also a great way for me to share things with the team. The entire team led by Abbie have always shown a level of professionalism and integrity, second to non and I really can’t recommend this nursery enough to new parents.

There is so much I want to say about Amazing Acorns, and I don't even know where to begin. We first visited the nursery when my daughter was just four months old, as we were considering options in readiness for my return to work later in the year. I dropped in fairly unexpectedly, having just spotted the nursery on my way to view Mary Poppins. Abbie and her staff were incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for - a home from home for our little girl! Since then, just over one year on, my first impression hasn't changed one bit. I love this nursery, I love the staff, and I love how much our little girl has blossomed in the company of these fantastic ladies. Thank you for everything Abbie, Alex, Alice, Lisa and all of your colleagues - we're going to be so sad to leave when it's time for big school! xxx

After moving our daughter from a well known nursery to Amazing Acorns I can honestly say that she has come on leaps and bounds!! The staff are extremely friendly and approachable and Ella is always happy to go. She has learnt so so much in the short space of time she has been there. We especially like that she actually gets to learn and explore, rather than just play all morning. I couldn't recommend the ladies here highly enough! The constant daily updates through tapestry are a fantastic way to see how your child is getting on while they're away from you. Her speech has improved massively and she is no longer the shy child who hides behind others.

My son was very young when starting at amazing acorns, having to work full time and dealing with PND was extremely difficult for me. Abbie and her team went above and beyond to make sure that both myself and my child were supported in every way possible. I was sent pictures of my little boy through the day which really helped me cope with leaving him and being away from him so much, my little man transitioned from baby room to todler room and in both rooms was always very happy, walking in and waving me good bye to start his day full of fun. Having been a childminder before I was very keen to send my son somewhere that wasnt over crowded with children and that would be more nurturing for my child, Abbie and her team have gone above and beyond my expectations of this and I'm very happy with the care he receives and would recommend this nursery to anyone.

I trusted this nursery to look after my child but I was very let down by them.
I picked my daughter up, took her to the car and she had obviously had an accident because I would smell it as soon as I got her in the car, took wellies off and her socks were soaked. No explanation other than they "Didn't know" and that "she didn't tell us". This is just one of a number things that I'm not happy about.
I took my child because I thought she wasn't being looked after as well as I would have liked
