About Me
I’m a single mum working from home, I have multiple sclerosis and cannot drive, which makes the school run very difficult
My Requirements
My daughter is 7 and in year 2 at an infant school, she will be moving school in September 2026. I am hoping she gets in to Baden-Powell, but living in Upper Parkstone I am unable to facilitate. She is currently in wrap around care with a childminder. I’m trying to find someone who lives within a manageable distance that can do school drop offs and pick ups.

Jennie is the 3rd parental figure in my daughter’s life that I never even knew we needed, but I am eternally grateful to have found her. She is a wonderful person and shows genuine love and affection for the children in her care. She has looked after my daughter since she was just a year old, and continues to be a very important part of lives now that my daughter is in school with Jennie providing wraparound care. Jennie had a huge part in getting my daughter school ready and is a big cheerleader for her, an emotional and developmental support, and just all round the absolute best person I could have ever dreamt of finding. Any child under Jennies care will have fun, grow, learn and receive the best care in a multitude of environments and experiences.

Jennie has been looking after my daughter for 18 month, from the age of 1 to 2 and a half. My daughter has developed incredibly due in great part to Jennies attentive care, guidance and support. As well as helping my daughter to develop physically and mentally, Jennie also strives to provide a fun and enriching experience for the children in her care. Most days bring a new adventure, with walks, park visits and spending time in nature a staple of their day. Above all, I know my daughter is safe and (very!) happy when she spends time with Jennie and her friends in the setting, and it’s very clear that Jennie cares deeply for the children she looks after. I genuinely couldn’t ask for more and I’m incredibly grateful that we found Jennie!
