About Me
My name is Katie Foster and I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with over 7 years experience. I hold a BA in primary education,
It is my aim to provide outstanding childcare in every aspect of my service. Children are given multiple opportunities to develop their creativity and knowledge through enriching and engaging activities. These include: sensory play, problem solving, sports games, cooking, arts and crafts and much more!
Please be aware my services are offered providing you are able to drop off your children. Drop offs/collections to local schools are available. Collections/stays at own home are available on the weekend. Children are also able to be dropped home each evening (T&C’s apply).
BREAKFAST CLUB 7am - 8.30am: Children are given a healthy breakfast and engage in meditation/yoga, before being dropped off to school. They also have the opportunity to complete homework with support.
AFTERSCHOOL CLUB 3.30pm - 7pm: Children are collected from school, provided with a hot meal, given time to complete homework and engage in one planned activity.
PRESCHOOL 7am - 7pm: Children follow timetable produced using EYFS framework.
My Experience
In 2011 I began volunteering in a local primary school. It was from this I decided to go to university and gain a degree in education. Since graduating I have worked in a number of outstanding schools within the city. I have ran an after school club and been involved with a successful holiday camp during the half terms. I also have 2 years tutoring experience. In 2019 I took on my first role as a nanny, looking after children aged 3m - 9yr. It is now with this experience, I have my own vision as an educator.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Primary Education with QTS, obtained from St Mary’s University, Twickenham.
My Availability
Due to a commitment with a local school I am unavailable some Fridays from Oct 2019 - May 2020. Please contact me for further information.
