About Us

St Augustine’s Nursery is located at the heart of a multi-cultural community in Highbury, London N5.

We are a charitable organisation situated in a large open-plan setting allowing free flow access to a garden. We offers places to children aged 2 to 5 years old, from 9.00 am to 12.45 pm Monday to Friday term time, with the optional Extended hours to 2.30 pm.

At St Augustine’s nursery, we provide a rich curriculum in a stimulating environment that offers a variety of exciting experiences, promotes exploration, self-expression and a real love of learning.

The nursery’s Management Committee being composed of parents and carers volunteers, working in partnership with parents is the cornerstone of our organisation.

Our Ofsted Inspections

The inspection grades below have been obtained from the Ofsted website based upon the registration number the childcare provider has provided to us. You should verify this information yourself prior to using the childcare provider.

Ofsted Good Provider Logo
Good
28 June 2023
Children thrive in a warm and welcoming environment where staff prioritize language development and inclusive support. The nursery offers a language-rich setting, promoting communication through singing, rhymes, and role-play. Children with special educational needs receive good support, and parents praise the small-setting community approach. Safeguarding procedures are robust. However, staff could improve the use of visual aids to support children's transitions and understanding.
