I’m a mother of 2 (aged 13 & 9) currently working in a Lewisham Primary school in New Cross Monday to Friday.
I LOVE reading, music, art and travelling.
I specialise in working with children with additional educational needs, in particular Autism, but have worked with a wide range of children.
I have been working with SEN children for the past 5 years now and I absolutely love it.
During the past few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have met so many wonderful children that have made an impact on me and have had the privilege to form fantastic relationships with both them and their parents/carers.
I have a passion for educating children and I firmly believe that every child should be encouraged to reach their full potential despite any barriers to their learning they may face.
If I could describe myself in 3 words, they would be kind, friendly and committed.
**DBS checked and references available**
As well as having the experience of raising my own 2 children, I have experience working with children with ASC, Speech & Language difficulties, Global Delay, Physical disabilities, Mental Health issues, ADHD, Dyslexia, DCD (Dyspraxia) and many more. I’ve also worked with and supported children with none of these needs.
I’ve worked in different primary schools across Southwark and Lewisham Boroughs and with a range of ages from Reception through to Year 6.
I have delivered Speech and Language interventions, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Handwriting, Maths & Literacy booster sessions, Reading comprehension interventions, SATS preparation, Precision Teaching and so much more.
Many people say to me “You’re so patient, I don’t know how you do it” but the reason is because I try to treat these children as my own.
Being a parent myself, I understand first hand the struggles that we face trying to raise our children the best way that we can. And it’s hard work!
That said, I’m more than willing to help in any way that I can if given the opportunity.
I believe in a firm but kind approach with love at the core of everything that I do.

She's been wonderful with our daughter from day one.
When I come home she is always playing with her, and our baby girl is always happy and laughing.
What I like about Angel is that she cares about my daughter and she is always trying her best, she is very trustworthy.
Pleasant and friendly manner
Good rapport with the kids (2 boys)
Kept the boys entertained going on trips to museum cinema and Tower of London.
Would highly recommend.
Angel's patience, understanding and training serves her well. She is very conscientious and treats children with respect.
Angel looks after my 2 year old son and has been since he was very young. She is very attentive, patient and engaged. They often play the piano, sing songs and generally have a great time. Angel's children are also very polite and charming and my son enjoys spending time with them. A change of clothes is required for young ones as Angel is very clean and once the clothes are dirty from throw up or food they will be changed.
She keeps note of what the child likes to eat or is not allowed to eat and respects these. Cannot recommend her enough.
