About Me

Hi! I'm Jessie and have a 6 year old boy with Autism. He currently goes to Beaumont Hill Academy in Darlington with transport to and from.

My Requirements

Registered Childminder

I honestly dont know where to start! I work as a HGV Technician/Mechanic for Volvo.
I work a 2 shift rotation and Josephs Dad works permanent days. We'd need help/cover for Joseph before and after school. If a childminder would be happy for his bus to drop off at their home Monday - Friday pick up is usually 8am - 8.15am and drop off is usually 4 - 4.15pm. Also help with school holidays.

Joseph is a very happy smiley boy. He has been diagnosed at the age of 3 with Autism. Hes loves effection and hugs. He is non-verbal but able to communicate via showing you what he needs such as grabbing your hand and taking you. He is still in nappies and not toilet drained but working on this. Im happy to explain more regarding his personality and needs.

Down to earth and amazing.

Karens looked after my autistic son since 2021. He is now 5 and absolutely thriving. She has helped us with so many things from advice about autism, schools and helping with arrangements around his SEN nursery and school placements. 1000% recommend Karen. Joseph will be with Karen for future years to come. She has eased the stress that comes with both parents working full time. 🥰
