Hello, Im Mollie, a 23 years old, studied at the university of Winchester, a BA Honours in Childhood studies whilst completing my level 4 maternity nurse (non medical) course.
I have availability on a Friday during term time to find a nanny family that could use the helping hands.
I am a fun, kind and caring nanny who loves to go walking In search of muddy puddles and creating cars out of cardboard or reading a book over and over again.
I am a hard worker and love to be in an enriched family environment. I am passionate about caring for children of all ages. I have had 6 years worth of personal and professional experience with a variety of ages. I love being able to spend time with children, planning activities and adventures which will help them grow and develop into their next steps of life.
I am always looking for new ways to provide activities and experiences for children to learn from and I think that comes from my love of arts and crafts activities that I do in my spare time. I have my own small business creating Pompom crafts and decorations, this has encouraged me to be organised, efficient and creative. I love to try new dinner recipes and baking recipes, one of my favourite parts of being a nanny is being able to try out new snacks and meals with children.
I believe I have a gentle approach when it comes to routines, I will always consult with a parent about their routine, lifestyle and opinion before trying anything new with any child.
I currently have had my driving license for 5 years which is complete clean and have a car that I would be happy to use and take children to school or pick up from school and also take them to any clubs and activities. I would be happy to provide my driving license and original DBS documents as well as any certificates from qualifications for anyone to look over if they wish.
My Experience
I have completed my level 2 in childcare and health & social care and at level 3 in children's play, learning and development. I am a undergraduate student at the university of Winchester where I studied childhood studies, which I’ve completed my level 4, 5 and 6.
I have a background in nannying, babysitting work and childcare work, I am very comfortable looking after a child or children on a sole charge basis and ensuring everyones needs are being met with different activities and outings.
I have been able to gain experience and opportunities to observe, learn and encouter many different age groups from placements I have attended in both college and university, I have been able to work in both a nursery that had places for babies up until 4 years and in a reception and year one class in a school.
I have had sole charge of children aged between 8 months and 14 years throughout my time of being a private nanny. I have helped support children in completing homework, getting them to clubs and after school activities, supporting them to bake cakes and encouraged them to take part in making dinners.
I have worked with a variety of families and their needs, I have made sure to fit my care around the needs and wants if the family and always listen to how I can support them.
