My Experience

I am an experienced and dedicated childcare professional with several years of hands-on experience working with children from nursery age through to key stage 1. My background includes nannying, au pair work abroad, and nursery practitioner roles, giving me a wide range of skills and a strong understanding of child development.

I have worked as a nanny for two different families, caring for children aged 2-8. My roles have included full responsibility for morning and after-school routines, planning educational and creative activities, helping with homework, and supporting each child’s personal interests. I always aim to create a warm, structured and engaging environment where children feel safe, confident and listened to.
I also work closely with parents, keeping communication open, providing regular updates, and supporting family routines such as school runs, after-school clubs, playdates and appointments.

I have worked within nursery settings across all age rooms, supporting babies, toddlers and preschoolers. I planned engaging activities, supported children during their settling-in periods, helped with developmental milestones, and worked closely with parents. This experience taught me a lot about early years development and gave me a strong foundation for the nanny work I do now.

During my time as an au pair for two children, I gained valuable international childcare experience. I supported their daily routines, helped them with homework and behaviour, and made sure their days had a mix of structure and fun. It was an amazing experience that helped me grow even more as a caregiver.

I have listed the days as full time, however we can organise a much detailed routine to allign our schedules!
Also, late evenings/overnights are usually fine when asked in advance.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
