I thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and I genuinely enjoy meeting new people. I have consistently demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality throughout my academic and professional career, rarely taking a sick day. I am adept at working both independently and as part of a team, and I possess the ability to use my own initiative when necessary.

My Experience
Extensive years working with children of varied ages. My last role was as a deputy manager of a preschool. For many years I have been a nanny for several families. One particular client was a single mother with two children aged 1 & 6 years old. I was responsible for the care for both of these children and their academic development as well as sustaining structure and a daily routine that the children are able to respond to. As an effective communicator, I have over the years built a strong rapport with the children I work with as well as maintain positive working relationships with their parents. In this role I have also developed a high level of trust with both parents and children as I have shown that I have a pleasant demeanour. However although I enjoy working with children, there have been many times that the children I have worked with have got emotional & testy. These experiences have further strengthened my attributes and effectiveness in my practice. I have demonstrated that I have great patience, ability to remain calm under pressure whilst enforcing effective emotional and behavioural strategies to help teach and develop these children. Enforcing discipline and structure has enabled me it gain trust and respect from the children I work with and assisted me with preventive behavioural methods to avoid difficult situations from escalating. As an organised individual, I am flexible in my approach to work and I display a good level of instructional skills that children can relate to. My organisational skills helps me to be be creative in my approach to work and plan engaging activities for the children that will keep them occupied, active and out of trouble. In my practice I set clear boundaries which helps me to build string rapport with the young people I work with.
