About Me
My name is Rebecca ( also Pink ) as the children and parents will call me .
I have 4 children of my own ( 2 adults and 21 year old and 19 year old who live at home ) I am Spanish and have worked in childcare for over 32 years. I work with my husband/ assistant who is also Ofsted registered.
We provide a caring and nurturing setting , where children feel safe and able to learn and grow.
My Experience
I have been working in childcare for over 32 years- I worked as a nanny, then nurseries working my way to manager .I always wanted to be a child minder and in 2017 I registered with Ofsted, I had my inspection in December 2024 with our result was GOOD in all areas.
I work with my husband who is registered with Ofsted and holds a DBS and has had training in safeguarding and holds a 1st Aid Certificate .
We are Spanish and we speak to the children in Spanish and English ,giving them an opportunity from a very young age to learn another language.
We work very closely with the families and their children to provide a safe, loving and caring environment for their children to learn and grow .
We also attend local playgroups,libraries and parks .
We arrange two trips a year and we ask the parents to take part ,this is such a beautiful time for all the parents to get to know each other and see their children playing with their friends.
We also have a very important part of our family .Our husky Ocean who is 3year in April this year.
The bond between Ocean and the children is unique,so beautiful for children to learn how to be kind to animals.
Ocean has been fully trained and is never left alone with the children .
My Qualifications
I have my Level 3 CACHE in Child Care and Learning Development .
LEVEL 3 CACHE Home based child care setting.
First Aid
Safeguarding training
Food & Hygiene training Level 2
