Hello there!
I am a mum of 3, eldest is 20. I have worked with children since I was 16 and qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1998. In a mixed-age setting, I usually found myself with the babies!
My Experience
Over the years I have worked in nurseries, a creche and in the children's own homes. Between 2016 and 2020 I had an after school job, picking the child up from school, taking him where he needed to go or we just hung out. Part of my duties was to prepare his tea, and bath him ready for when his parents returned home.
During the covid period, I have enjoyed working regularly with the same families, being creative with activities including cooking, craft, playdough, board games and taking the children out. The families have had mixed-age ranges but usually at least one school aged child. You will find me reliable, trustworthy, always willing to try new things, kind and polite. Always happy to adapt to the families parenting style.
