About Me
Hi, I am a qualified Ofsted registered Nanny, living in Clevedon
I have worked as a nanny for many years and have continued to work while raising my own 2, now grown up children. My eldest has just finished his Masters at university and my youngest is about to spend a year abroad in France and Spain for his third year of university.
I hold a paediatric first aid and full DBS certificate on the update system
I have a genuine love of children. A calm, gentle and encouraging nature, organised, knowledgeable and enthusiastic person. backed up by my references. I always offer commitment and ensure my charges are happy and stimulated little people. I enjoy cooking healthy meals for and with the children. Swimming, arts and crafts, soft play, lots of outside activities, walks in the park etc, story times and imaginative play suitable for different age groups in the home environment.
I have had experience with children with additional needs and catheter care. I have recently looked after a family with 1 year old twins. The twins have epilepsy and neuronal migration disorder(development delay).I also assisted with their physiotherapy.
Have lots of experience with children aged from new born to 18 yrs and the pleasure of looking after 7 sets of twins and their siblings.
I was a sectional assistant at my local scout group. I helped The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as my boys grew up.
I am a very active ,busy person and enjoy the gym, running and outdoor activities . Reading ,cooking walking with my dog and spending time with family and friends in my free time.
During lockdown I was a local volunteer for Clevedon Aid delivering hot meals and shopping for vulnerable people. I also completed an NVQ level 2 course in understanding health and nutrition.

The children I have been looking after for the last 4 years are growing up.
One will be starting school full-time and the youngest preschool 2 days a week.
Therefore I would love to look after another little person to fill my day's .

Helen has worked with us for a year - our daughter is now three and a half, and our son is one and a half. They are both full on, challenging little people but Helen is always pleased to see them (and they, her!). I would unreservedly recommend Helen as a nanny to any family - she is thoughtful, dedicated, hardworking, punctual and very loving to both children. We trust her completely with the care of our children. We are moving out of the area, otherwise we would have loved to keep Helen on until both were in school.
