I am a fully qualified Norland Nanny with 18 years experience. I am organised, reliable confident, capable and a good listener with the ability to communicate well with both children and adults. It is important to me to meet each individual child’s needs. I enjoy a challenge and am always energetic with the ability to offer an extensive range of activities in order to contribute to all areas of development.
I am hard working with a positive and enthusiastic approach to fulfil all commitments responsibly. I am patient, approachable, flexible and professional, always respecting confidentiality. I use my initiative and I have the ability to react quickly which is paramount to the success of the role.
I am an honest, friendly, kind and caring person with a good sense of humour and have a happy fun loving personality. I am ofsted registered with an up to date enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid, full clean driving license and I am a non-smoker.
I love to cook healthy meals with fresh foods and especially enjoy the outdoors.
I live with my son who was born early 2019 and daughter who was born late 2020 and also our 9 year old labradoodle.

My Experience
As a Norland Nanny with 18 years experience, duties include:
Sole charge positions with children from birth to 13 years old
All nursery duties
Maternity nursing alongside usual day care
Establishing routines and rules allowing for a fun loving environment
Weaning
Potty training
Organising playdates/parties, making themed birthday cakes
Organising creative and educational activities and outings to encompass appropriate development
Transition to nursery and schools
Teaching to read
Reading at home, homework assistance and volunteering at school listening to children read
Doing school and activity runs incorporating a very busy schedule
Music practice
Playing sport with children
Food shopping, preparation, cooking (also with children) of all meals/snacks, teaching balanced diet and healthy lifestyle to children
Discipline, manners, challenging behaviour
24 hour proxy parenting both away from home and at home- when parents are away in UK/abroad
Advice and support for parents
Working closely with parents
Taken children camping
Emergency temporary cover for known and new families
Multiple severe food allergies
Severe eczema- including wet wrapping
Asthma care and treatment
