About Me

we are looking for an SEN Tutor or Teacher with QTS / and also separate position for a Nanny - House Keeper.
We have three lovely children two girls and boy aged 15, 12 and our eldest has a diagnosis of Autism.

POSITION1:
Required: SEN Tutor or Teacher with QTS.

SEN Tutor / Teacher with QTS
We are looking for a private tutor for our 15 year old daughter who is home schooling (based in Brockley). The tutor would need to have a Qualified teacher status (QTS) ( primary/secondary) and have a current DBS and have experience teaching children with SEN needs, ASD, communication difficulties. They should also be able to use AAC- Makaton and have an open and compassionate outlook. Although this particular role requires QTS/QTLS we want to hear from all Teachers no matter what your qualification is!. We are looking for a teacher who has the passion to teach and inspire young people during a crucial stage of their personal and academic development. and has a nurturing, patient, empathetic and holistic approach.

You will be working as a self-employed, part-time tutor. we are ideally looking for a tutor to work at least 20- 22 hours per week.

POSITION 2: Nanny - House Keeper

Nanny/House Keeper
We will also like to employ a nanny for term time after school .This will be flexible between Monday to Friday although hours will be approx. 2.30pm - 6pm term time and occasional weekends if needed. During school holidays you may be expected to work more hours (full days), someone flexible would be ideal. Extra hours will be also offered in the form of babysitting on occasion.

The salary will be £12-£15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. A driver would be preferred and you will need to be fluent in English and capable to be able to help with homework (reading and writing). An OFSTED registered nanny would also be ideal but it would be advantageous if you were or willing to be OFSTED registered.

We are looking for someone who is local to Brockley, friendly, calm and caring and who can relate to children and happy to play and provide a secure environment. You will be organised, fun, loving, firm but fair, physically fit. You need to have great love and patience for my kids with great love for music, the outdoors and swimming and some experience in special needs and autism as well very patient yet vibrant with the kids. You'll also need to be reliable, punctual and looking for a more permanent position.

Duties include helping and motivating with homework, taking to the park, keeping the children actively occupied and engaged, happy and safe and also able to cook the children’s dinner.
