I started LittleChildren Childminding after my own experiences with not being able to find shift pattern affordable childcare.

I currently have relocated from Kent to Essex and will be taking children from March 1st of 2024 will be able to take children earlier under exceptional circumstances.

I have a young son who is 9 years old, and we reside in a spacious home.

I believe children who attend with me should be given that home away from home.

Currently we are in the process of setting up our setting which will consist of various toys & activities for all ages. Outside we intend to have a water play and mud kitchen with access to a trampoline if signed approved by parents. We will also do nature walks where children can explore and learn about nature. Playhouses and lots of learning and educational play.

We will have lots of activities available inside for those rainy days.

Nutrition is very important for growing minds and we will issue parents with a meal plan each week via email to show what their little ones have eaten throughout the day.

Throughout the year we will have events for children to enjoy whether this be days out or activities such as Mad Scientist or bouncy castle day or soft play.

During the half term and summer terms I will plan to take children on a “summer camp” style basis where I will have activities booked for each day that will be updated weekly for parents to fully get a picture of what their children are enjoying. We will have trampolining, craft workshops, mad scientist, magicians, and a summer special of a day out at an attraction if approved by all parents. We will offer swimming days too where children can cool off in the paddling pool / spa enjoy Icecreams and BBQ for the lunch / dinner during the hot summer months.


During summer and half terms ages range from 0-11 years old and will be separated into groups for age appropriate activities

All food and snacks and drinks are included in my day rates.

My standard operational hours are from 8am - 5:30pm however I do have availability earlier than this i.e 6:30am and finishing time can be negotiated and treated on a case by case basis.

Nursery Baby care

I can take newborns and this can be discussed your requirements. Nappies & wipes and cows milk are included in the day rate formula is provided by parents.

I also offer breakfast club and after school club and can pick up from two schools local to me which is South Benfleet Primary & Jotmans

After school club includes snack and tea meal provided.
