About Me
Little Children Childminding was established to blend the benefits of nursery and home childcare, providing a nurturing environment that aligns the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This approach not only supports children's development but also prepares them for their school years, giving them a head start in their learning journey. Little Children Childminding is situated in Hockley, Essex. Our setting is within walking distance of Plumberow Academy.
At our Setting, where your child's safety and happiness are our top priorities. Our dedicated playroom is designed for fun and creativity we also have CCTV in operation, while our baby room upstairs features a large comfortable cot, CCTV, heart rate monitor, and Baby Sense technology to ensure peace of mind for parents. In addition, the baby room has rainwater sounds & sensory lights and sounds. During the summer months the baby room also has air conditioning. We provide a large outdoor play area complete with a swing set, bouncy castle, seesaw, planting area where we grow our own vegetables and fruits and incorporate those into our menus, water play, balancing stones, sand pit, and many more allowing your little ones to explore and enjoy the great outdoors in a safe and inviting environment. During the summer months the outdoor space is transformed into a water park play area where children can cool off during the summer heat we created a comfortable and engaging space for children to thrive.

2 spaces 1-4 yrs Monday - Friday
We offer the free 15hrs / 30 hrs childcare.
Our fees are discussed at meeting stage and we offer set fees with no hidden extras meals are included in your little ones care.

She’s had my little one for two months now and she’s gone above and beyond catering to each and every child’s needs.
The facility’s are amazing with all the toys and games the kids would want aswell as a huge garden with all sorts of stuff for the kids.
My 1 year old always walks in happily and loves to see her in the mornings.

My daughter loves coming to Sarah each day and shows how happy she is to be there by reaching out to Sarah and giving her a cuddle on arrival each day. This makes it so easy to leave her there and go to work.
Sarah is amazing, she shows how much she enjoys being with and spending time with the children each day and how good of a relationship she has with them.
Sarah makes childcare services so easily with her flexibility, communication and the fact all meals are included, which my daughter loves by the way!

My little one started with Sarah in August and has settled so well. He has a lovely time and has made friends easily. He gets excited when I tell him it’s time to go to see Sarah, which is a great endorsement from someone under 2. His speech and behaviour has come on so well in his time there, and he’s starting to pick up things like colours and numbers too. He eats like a king while he’s there and always comes home full of babble about his day. Would definitely recommend Sarah

Sarah and the team at LC Childminding look after my 18 month old son during the day and my 6 year old son after school most days as well. Both boys love being with Sarah. She feeds them great healthy meals and she has got so many activities going on to stimulate them - both indoors and outdoors, they really do love it there.
Sarah fills me with reassurance throughout the day and is quick to respond to me if I message. She's also on hand to keep them late if I ever get stuck and has been incredibly accommodating in that respect. My littlest seems to have learnt a lot and improved his speech and mobility since being with LC as well. Highly recommend! We will be sticking with her!
