Fantastic Childminder

Elaine cares for my son who is 3 years old, we contacted Elaine as we were looking for a childminder who would be able to start his integration with other children his age as well as time away from us as he prepared for Nursery. Our experience has surpassed all of my expectations. Our son has thrived whilst being with Elaine each week, his vocabulary has improved, he’s so much more independent and building such strong attachment with Elaine and some of the other children. Every week there are new activities, days out during the summer holidays each week, painting, outdoor play, woodland walks as well as indoor days in Elaine’s warm and welcoming home. Elaine provides such good communication with me and amazing feedback on my sons learning and how he’s developing. Our son is now in Nursery, but really wanted to stay with Elaine a day as well and he is just as excited every week to spend his day there. Overall, I would recommend Elaine to anyone looking for a childminder who is willing to and does go the extra mile to ensure not only the children are happy and cared for but is also a fantastic support to parents who are on this journey for the first time too. My son loves her.

Great childminder, Highly recommended,

Elaine looks after my 2 children Skye (10) and Ross (3), her patience, kindness & genuine affection for my children is second to none. Elaines house is very warm, welcoming, clean and well organised with unlimited toys indoors and outdoors. Elaine provides different activities at each visit, my children have enjoyed baking, colouring, arts and crafts, role play and have recently been helping elaine plant a variety of seeds to grow flowers for out in the green house, my son is loving to watch them grow. Elaine provides a variety of home cooked meals and healthy snacks that my children enjoy. Elaine also helps with my children's learning as Ross has been learning about the weather and days of the week at nursery and elaine has been helping him too. Recently Ross was unwell with chicken pox, Elaine went out her way to provide ross with a learning folder with the days of the week, colours, weather, counting and many more learning activities this was very helpful for myself and Ross as he was missing out on this at nursery. Last month Skye was struggling with her reading at school and confined in Elaine about this, Elaine again went out her way and arranged a trip to the library where Skye was able to take some books home to help with her reading. On mothers day and other occasions my children have came home with home made gifts which has been lovely. Elaine provides a monthly news letter which provides what her plans are over the next month, at the moment elaine is doing up the back garden and so far it looks great with different stations for the kids to play at. I couldn’t have hoped to have a more caring and professional childminder for my children and would not hesitate to recommend her.
