About Me
Hello, welcome all.
I live in Basingstoke, in Kempshott with my husband and two children. We are both non smokers with no pets. We have a lovely house, which is safe and secure, and has got a child-friendly garden. We love our home, which is based in a cul-de-sac with big open fields for great outdoor walks and a very good playground to burn off that excessive energy.
I have also converted our conservatory into a playroom which consists of toys for both educational and normal play for all ages. Child development & education is of most importance to me and I always include these fundamentals into every session with all the children I look after.
I provide a creative and enjoyable learning environment and offer lots of different activities. Activities include: messy play, painting, play dough, music and dancing, modeling, crafts and all sorts. I try to make sure children spend enough time outside, in the fresh air every day! We also attend soft play centers, toddlers groups, parks, farms. There is always something going on at "over the rainbow childminding"
I have a full time and part time space available at the moment. I work within the Early Years Foundation Stage, to ensure children receive all round development whilst they play. I am Ofsted Registered, fully insured and a member of PACEY. I also provide 30 hours a week of free education for 3 and 4-year-olds.

I cannot recommend Marta and her team highly enough. My son has been attending since he was just over one years old, and as he now gets ready to leave and start school, it feels like the end of such a special chapter. Our younger daughter also attends and will continue with Marta until she’s ready for school too.
From day one, Marta and the team have provided a warm, safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where both of our children have thrived. They genuinely care about every child as an individual, taking the time to understand their personalities, interests, and developmental needs. It’s clear that the children’s happiness, wellbeing, and progress are always their top priority.
The range of activities they provide is fantastic. Every day seems to bring something new, from creative play and outdoor adventures to educational activities that encourage learning through fun. My children always come home smiling, excited to tell us about what they’ve been doing and what they’ve learnt.
The progress we’ve seen in our son over the years has been incredible. His confidence, independence, social skills, communication, and readiness for school have all developed so much thanks to the support, encouragement, and guidance from Marta and her team.
One thing we particularly love is the mix of different ages. It creates such a lovely atmosphere where the younger children learn from the older ones. The standard of care is exceptional. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed about our children’s day, development, and any important updates.
Choosing someone to care for your child is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make, and we have never once doubted that ours were in the very best hands. Thank you, Marta, and the team, for the love, care, patience, and dedication you’ve shown over the years. You have played such an important part in our children’s early years, and we are incredibly grateful.

We cannot thank Marta and her team enough for the love, care and support they have given Myka over the years. She has been with them since we moved to the area, and they have been such an important part of her childhood.
When Myka was going through her autism assessment and diagnosis, Marta supported not only her but our whole family with patience, understanding and genuine compassion. She took the time to understand Myka’s individual needs, worked with us every step of the way, and always made sure she felt safe, accepted and included. Knowing Myka was in such caring hands gave us enormous peace of mind.
The setting is warm, welcoming and full of opportunities for children to learn, play and grow. Myka has made wonderful memories, built confidence and formed lovely relationships that she’ll always treasure.
As Myka moves into her final year of primary school, we’re sad to be saying goodbye. We will always be incredibly grateful to Marta and her amazing team for everything they’ve done for our daughter. We couldn’t have wished for a better childminder, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to any family looking for exceptional childcare.

My two boys have been with Marta and her team for a year now, after our previous childminder left the profession, and the transition could not have been smoother. They attend before and after school only, yet the level of care, attention, and warmth they receive makes those hours genuinely meaningful.
From the very beginning, both boys have been shown real love and compassion, and it’s clear they feel completely at home in Marta’s setting. They enjoy attending every day, which speaks volumes.
Marta’s environment is spotless, beautifully organised, and impressively well equipped to cater for children of all ages. It’s a space that feels safe, nurturing, and thoughtfully designed.
As our eldest prepares to leave for secondary school, it’s a bittersweet moment. He has grown in confidence and maturity during his time with Marta, and we are so grateful for the support she has given him. Our younger son will be staying on, and we’re delighted he’ll continue to be part of such a wonderful setting.
Marta and her team are a rare find: professional, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children they care for. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. The whole team are not only supportive of my boys, they are supportive of the whole family, and it means so much.

Our Son has spent nearly three years with Marta and the team at Over the Rainbow, and I can honestly say they have been nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, they welcomed him with genuine warmth, patience, and joy the kind of care you hope for but rarely find.
They have supported every milestone with such dedication: potty training, counting, alphabet, social skills, confidence, independence all nurtured with love and expertise. He has grown into the most wonderful, curious, kind little boy, and so much of that is thanks to the environment they created around him.
As he transitions into school, we feel nothing but gratitude. Marta has made every step feel calm, supported, and thoughtfully planned. She always chose the easier path for us, guiding us with reassurance and experience.
We owe this team so much. They have shaped my Sons early years in the most beautiful way, and we will forever be thankful for the care, love, and magic they poured into him.

My son went to Marta’s setting prior to starting Pre School, he absolutely loved it and so did we! Marta was always lovely and friendly, along with her team and they will be missed! They were always willing to help and always listened.
Marta has got a perfect set up in her home for the children to have lots of their own space both inside and out. They are constantly doing lovely imaginative play and crafts, which were sent home for us to enjoy. Every day is well planned to get the most out of all the children and most importantly for them to have fun and make great friends. Thank you Marta 🫶🏻

Marta and her team were our son’s very first childminders, and he stayed with them for nearly two years. We only had to discontinue because we moved house, otherwise, we would have happily stayed.
Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Marta and her team do a fabulous job of truly understanding and meeting the needs of little ones, and they build such a warm, trusting bond with the children. We always felt confident and reassured knowing our son was in such caring, capable hands. We’re genuinely grateful for the care and support they provided and would highly recommend them to any parent.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Marta and her team for the wonderful care they have provided for our son.
We moved him to Marta’s setting six months ago, changing nurseries — and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the very beginning, we noticed how warm and welcoming the environment was, and our son felt safe, happy, and excited to attend every day.
Thanks to their dedication and nurturing approach, he has made great progress, especially in his speech, which has improved significantly during his time there.

Marta is a true professional
I am so grateful for the amazing care my child has received in Marta setup .

My son has been attending Over the Rainbow since May 2024 and has enjoyed his time there to the fullest. Marta and her team are warm, reliable and consistently provide the highest level of care. My son has grown leaps and bounds under Marta and her team. From being a shy toddler, he has gone on to become a happy, chatty and a confident kid who is ready for new experiences and meeting new people. We will miss Marta and team as he heads off to school but as parents we are forever indebted to her and the team for instilling all the values and learning in him over the past year.
I would definitely recommend her and we will back to hers during all term holidays!

One can't find a better place than Marta's for your children. We have had three kids going there over the past few years, and they always come home happy. Given both of us are working full-time, we wanted to have a childcare setting which is not just safe and good for children also flexible and understanding for the parents' needs. Marta's is one of those places, and after leaving the kids there we could go one peacefully at work.
We also figured out that our little one's health condition has become much better in this setup, compared to the previous one, where she had frequent wheezing episodes. Again, whenever our little one needed a little bit of extra support when she was ill, Marta just gave full support and kept her comfortable until we picked up Never once did she make parents feel guilty for working and leaving the child at the setting, never rushed us to pick her up.
Whether it's school drops, pickups, or flexible care options, she's the best in town and second to none.
Always responsive, always up and ready to help whatever the ask is and not even once had she refused anything as unreasonable.
My husband and I highly recommend Marta and the other lovely ladies in the setup for all the help they have been doing for us all these years.
