About Me
Hello, welcome all.
I live in Basingstoke, in Kempshott with my husband and two children. We are both non smokers with no pets. We have a lovely house, which is safe and secure, and has got a child-friendly garden. We love our home, which is based in a cul-de-sac with big open fields for great outdoor walks and a very good playground to burn off that excessive energy.
I have also converted our conservatory into a playroom which consists of toys for both educational and normal play for all ages. Child development & education is of most importance to me and I always include these fundamentals into every session with all the children I look after.
I provide a creative and enjoyable learning environment and offer lots of different activities. Activities include: messy play, painting, play dough, music and dancing, modeling, crafts and all sorts. I try to make sure children spend enough time outside, in the fresh air every day! We also attend soft play centers, toddlers groups, parks, farms. There is always something going on at "over the rainbow childminding"
I have a full time and part time space available at the moment. I work within the Early Years Foundation Stage, to ensure children receive all round development whilst they play. I am Ofsted Registered, fully insured and a member of PACEY. I also provide 30 hours a week of free education for 3 and 4-year-olds.
I have been graded OUTSTANDING at my last Ofsted inspection (September 2016)

Marta is a true professional

My son has been attending Over the Rainbow since May 2024 and has enjoyed his time there to the fullest. Marta and her team are warm, reliable and consistently provide the highest level of care. My son has grown leaps and bounds under Marta and her team. From being a shy toddler, he has gone on to become a happy, chatty and a confident kid who is ready for new experiences and meeting new people. We will miss Marta and team as he heads off to school but as parents we are forever indebted to her and the team for instilling all the values and learning in him over the past year.
I would definitely recommend her and we will back to hers during all term holidays!

One can't find a better place than Marta's for your children. We have had three kids going there over the past few years, and they always come home happy. Given both of us are working full-time, we wanted to have a childcare setting which is not just safe and good for children also flexible and understanding for the parents' needs. Marta's is one of those places, and after leaving the kids there we could go one peacefully at work.
We also figured out that our little one's health condition has become much better in this setup, compared to the previous one, where she had frequent wheezing episodes. Again, whenever our little one needed a little bit of extra support when she was ill, Marta just gave full support and kept her comfortable until we picked up Never once did she make parents feel guilty for working and leaving the child at the setting, never rushed us to pick her up.
Whether it's school drops, pickups, or flexible care options, she's the best in town and second to none.
Always responsive, always up and ready to help whatever the ask is and not even once had she refused anything as unreasonable.
My husband and I highly recommend Marta and the other lovely ladies in the setup for all the help they have been doing for us all these years.

My daughter attended martas childminding service from 10months old till she was 4 and just about to start school. I cannot thank them all enough for everything they done for her. Her confidence was boosted greatly, she built up great relationships with everyone and even wanted to go on the days she wasnt there. Marta and everyone was so supportive to the whole family throughout our time with them, i would have kept my daughter there if it wasnt for her starting school. I would 100% recommend this childcare service.

We are so blessed to have found you! When trying to find a childminder for our little boy we were so so nervous and apprehensive to leave our little man with someone other than us! But Marta and her wonderful team have really made this transition so easy and effortless. Our son (8 months) comes home every day so happy and content! We couldn’t ever put into words how grateful and thankful we are! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone that works here, we wouldn’t change a thing!!

Our little boy Connor of 18 months has been with Marta & her team for only 7 months and if it wasn't for us moving location, we would 100% have kept him with her until he was ready for school.
He has grown & learned so much since being with Marta, it really is so lovely to see how happy he has been with all the girls there.
There are lots of activities that keep the children busy and even little day trips out as well starting back up! I always love seeing the things Connor would bring home that he has made.
Bring first time parents, Marta made everything so easy for us and we never felt nervous to leave him. She is so welcoming, friendly and warm - you can't not love her.
So thank you Marta & Team, we will all miss you dearly!

My daughter went to Martas for school drop off and pick up, Marta and her team are very lovely and we still like to say hello at the school. I would recommend getting in contact with Marta if you are looking for childcare.

Our son has been with Marta at over the rainbow for the last 2 and a half years. I consider ourselves lucky that we found her as Marta has been absolutely fantastic and I don't know what we would have done without her!
The setting is so friendly, our son has grown and developed fantastically since he has been there. We have used other childcare in the past and honestly nothing compares to the care and love our son has received at Over the Rainbow.
There are always different activities the children do each week, and they have been on outings to lots of different places. Our son has always asked on the weekends if it is Marta time again!
Marta and her assistants are very knowledgeable and experienced and have helped so much with milestones we were struggling with previously, and have time and patience for all children in the setting.
Our son is now moving on to big school, and we all will really miss seeing everyone at Over the Rainbow. We love the setting so much we will be going back over the school holidays!
I cannot recommend Over the Rainbow highly enough!

My daughter has been with Marta for the past 18 months and has flourished since. Marta provides such a loving and homely setting, they have amazing days out and days full of activities at home. My daughter is excited to go every single day and loves seeing her friends there. Marta is wonderfully understanding and as flexible as she can be. I would trust Marta with my little girl's life and the safety there is very well controlled. I wouldn't send her anywhere else and would recommened Marta to anyone who has a child of any age. She has been there since she 2 and has come along so much whilst in Marta's care.

My son has been with Marta since he was 4 months old, he is now 4 years old and going to "big school" and looks at Marta and her children as his extended family. Marta is kind and caring and has taught my little boy so much, he really loves her and her family and cant wait to get there in the mornings. When I drop him off, I leave knowing my son is happy and will have a great day with all his friends and will feel very much at home in the environment Marta has created in her setting. I would highly recommend Marta, she deserves more than 5 stars.
