About Me
Hi, I’m Ramisha, 27 years old and loveeee what I do! With over six years of experience in early years care, I am passionate about providing a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. I truly am invested in what I do — supporting children as they grow, learn, and discover the world around them brings me endless joy and fulfilment.
As an Ofsted-registered childminder, I take pride in offering high-quality childcare that feels like an extension of home. My setting is safe, welcoming, and designed to encourage independence, creativity, and curiosity. Every day is filled with opportunities for learning through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences.
I work closely with families in my community, building strong, trusting relationships based on open communication and genuine care. I believe that every child is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet each child’s individual needs and interests. Preparing children for their next stage in school — emotionally, socially, and academically — is at the heart of what I do.
As my business continues to grow, I’m excited to welcome new families and strengthen my partnerships with those already in my care. I’m also proud to be working alongside EY Works, a professional childcare management software platform, which helps me stay organised and provide a seamless experience for parents. I have amazing communication channels and relations with Merton and work closely with the team to provide outstanding education, inclusion and safe environments.
Every day, I feel grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in children’s lives — helping them develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
My Experience
With over six years of dedicated childminding experience, 1 FUN year as a student midwife, I have developed my setting into a place of excellence — where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. Throughout this time, I’ve had the privilege of caring for and preparing many children for their next stages in life, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see them leave with confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
I am a Level 3 Early Years Educator, paediatric first aider, and I take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of early years practice. As the Safeguarding Designated Lead in my setting, the safety and well-being of every child is always my top priority. I also serve as the SENCO Lead (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), ensuring that every child — regardless of their needs or abilities — receives the individual support and attention they deserve.
My professional journey is one of continual growth. I actively expand my Safeguarding Knowledge, Early Years expertise, and understanding of child development from birth to five years. I believe that staying current with best practices and new research allows me to provide the very best care and learning opportunities for the children in my setting.
I am fortunate to work alongside a team of experienced and qualified staff who share my passion for early years education. Together, we bring a wealth of knowledge and a shared commitment to nurturing children’s development in a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment.
Over the years, my childminding service has grown into a trusted and respected setting within the community. I take great pride in the strong relationships I’ve built with families, and in the positive outcomes we’ve achieved together. It’s a joy to see children progress and flourish — and to know that our work has made a lasting difference in their early years journey.
