Nanny / Teaching Assistant – Netley

We’re looking for a second Nanny/TA to join our family in Netley and support our children (ages 11, 10 and 4).

Our 10-year-old is educated at home through an EOTAS package, our 11-year-old attends school, and our 4-year-old will shortly begin an EOTAS programme. We already have a full-time nanny and are looking for a second to support with the second package of EOTAS.

Your role will be to:
• Accompany and transport her to activities (vehicle provided).
. Create and partake in sensory rich activities.
• Implement strategies from the MDT team (e.g. rough-and-tumble OT play).
• Act as her biggest supporter, advocate and safe person in social situations where she may feel vulnerable.

During quieter times in the day, both Nannies/TAs will work together to:
• Support household routines (children’s meals, ironing, tidying with the children).
• Plan and set up engaging activities.
• Contribute to meal planning and preparation.
• Encourage the children’s learning and development.

Requirements:
• Experience of working with children with ASD.
• Full driving licence.
• A supportive, fun, and proactive approach.

Hours & Pay:
• 5 days per week (around 30-40 hours).
• Year round work or could opt for term time.
• Minimum of 35 hours guaranteed.
