Permanent Nanny/Teaching Assistant Role – Netley

We’re looking for an additional Nanny/Teaching Assistant to join our family in Netley and support our three children (ages 11, 10 and 4).

About the Role

We have one full-time nanny already and are now looking for a second person to support our two EOTAS (Education Other Than at School) packages.

Our 10-year-old is educated full-time at home through EOTAS.
Our 11-year-old attends school.
Our 4-year-old is educated full-time at home through EOTAS.

The role is varied, rewarding and highly child-centred.

Your Key Responsibilities
Direct support

Accompany and transport our daughter to activities (vehicle provided).

Create and join in with sensory-rich, interest-led activities.

Implement strategies from the MDT team (e.g., rough-and-tumble OT play).

Be her advocate, supporter and safe person in social situations where she may feel overwhelmed.

Shared responsibilities with our other nanny

Support household routines (children’s meals, light ironing, tidying with the children).

Plan, prepare and set up engaging activities.

Contribute to meal planning and simple food preparation.

Encourage learning, play and developmental skills across all three children.

Requirements

Experience working with autistic children and/or children with sensory needs.

Full driving licence.

Warm, proactive, playful and patient approach.

Confident working as part of a small, supportive team.

Hours & Pay

5 days per week, typically 30–40 hours.

Minimum of 35 hours guaranteed.

Year-round or term-time-only options available.
