My Experience

Since the age of 17, I have dedicated my career to working with children in a variety of settings. I began by volunteering at a Montessori nursery, where I was later offered a Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship.

After completing my apprenticeship, I accepted a position as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant at a local school, where I worked for five years supporting children with diverse learning needs.

Most recently, I spent the summer and fall working in Canada at a summer camp, gaining valuable experience in outdoor education and youth development.

Throughout my career, I have supported children with a range of additional needs, including Type 1 diabetes, ASD, and ADHD. Alongside my formal roles, I have also provided nannying support to several families, further strengthening my skills in childcare and behaviour management.

My Qualifications

At the age of 18, I completed my Level 2 qualification in Childcare. Since then, I have continued to develop my skills through additional training, including First Aid, Behaviour Management, and Autism Awareness courses.
