About Me

I have worked in childcare for over 20 years, Level 3 qualified with both personal and professional experience in SEND. I am mum to a teenage boy who is Autistic and step mum to a little girl who is 10 years old. I am passionate about childcare and enjoy planning activities 'outside the box' to aid their education.

My Experience

I have worked in day nurseries and as a private Nanny, teaching assistant in years 3, 5 and reception. I have now returned to childminding and once again a fully registered Childminder.

My Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma Childcare and Education
Autism Awareness Level 2
ADHD awareness Level 2

My Availability

I currently have availability on Mondays and fridays 8am till 5pm term time only. I am passionate about children being outdoors and exploring the world around them in open ended play experiences. I follow the Curiosity Approach Ethos.

Fantastic setting and care

5 stars

We were very nervous about getting childcare for our 11 month old son, Henry, but as soon as we met with Emma she made us feel at ease and we felt the setting and her personality were perfect for him. Along with her assistant, Becca, they do a fantastic job.

Ever since he has started we have seen massive progress with his development and social skills with other children. He now loves going to Emma and we are delighted with how it is going and would recommend anyone who is looking for childcare to go with Emma!!
