Graduated in Psychology on 2017 in Madrid, I moved to London in November 2017.
I consider myself a hardworker, respectful, feminist, openminded, social, patient, creative and positive person. Living in Basque Country, France, Catalonia, Madrid and London helped me to understand different points of view, met diverse cultures and speak with fluency in three main different languages as Spanish, French and English. Actually learning Portuguese.
All that background helps me to reach a better communication listening, non-judging, respecting, learning and understanding others. Always giving my best, trying to create a good working environment, and looking for improvements.
I love art, actually working in differents projects; sports, playing for the Finsbury Bulls, an international and local basketball team and I love as well cycling, driving my bike everywhere. Lately enjoying gardening, apart of being a hobbie I am looking to be sustainable, having my self supply of vegetables and saving hidden pollution incomes. All my knowledge from my hobbies could be taught to the pupils or used for activites if required.
Working at The Garden School since March 2019. An autism specialized school, where I act as Teaching Assistant, working on 1:1 children, helping them to develop independence, social knowledge and skills, using PECS, Makaton, modelling and prompting following SCERTS. Developing strategies and activities adapted to their needs, leading lessons as food technology, horticulture and drama.
I like working with children from when I was a basketball coach, sports have given me the capacity and understanding of teamwork and the importance of it, as well as providing support encouraging the pupils, attending their individual needs, keep calm and be under control in stressful situations and obviously follow directions, but I can also use my knowledge and initiative if necessary and provide my opinion and creativity to keep improving the teaching.
Like I was doing on ANAR Foundation, providing psychological, social and legal support to children in risk and their families. Was a very challenging and interesting job, dealing with issues from sexual knowledge, bullying, self-confidence, to domestic violence, abuse and suicidal ideas.
