My Experience
I am currently working as children and youth worker in Uxbridge. I have been working in child care for 10 years. My working experience includes baby-sitting and childminder, teaching assistant, youth work both in institutions and foster care/residential houses in Italy, Romania and Ecuador as well as children entertainer. My approach is child centred and I enjoy doing games, planning activities or just crafts! It's really important to build a trustworthy relationship with the family and the child as I believe it is the fundamental base for a positive collaboration. I am very flexible and I'm happy to help whenever is possible.
My Qualifications
I did a children first aid course with a child care agency based in London and I obtained the certificate. I am Italian, but I do also speak English and Spanish. I have also got a certificate level 2 counselling skills. I have a MA degree in children youth and international development.
My Availability

Alessandra came for one day babysitting our little one and she did amazing job. At the end our 1 year old was crying when Alessandra was leaving. She was very engaged, playing, speaking to her and making sure she has plenty of food and water. 5 stars ;)
