About Me
I'm Alice and am married to Simon. We have boy girl twins born in April 2020. I work Monday to Thursday (with two days from home). Our wonderful part-time live-out child carer is sadly moving and hence our advert. We live on the edge of Lamberhurst in a sunny and spacious house with large garden.
My Requirements
Friendly family in Lamberhurst seeking part time carer to look after our 5 ¼ year old boy girl twins starting at the beginning of September 2025.
Exact hours and days to be agreed but ideally:
Monday & Thursday: 7.00 – 8.30am and 5.00 – 6.30pm
Tuesday & Wednesday: 7.00 – 8.30am and 4.00 – 6.30pm
However, we can flex the hours to suit all if necessary. If you are only interested in morning or afternoon care (or some days only), sharing the care hours could be an option. More hours available during school holiday if this is of interest.
Main duties are as follows:
- School pick up (Tuesday and Wednesday as standard). (Car provided for this purpose.)
- Simple supper preparation
- Bedtime routine
- Keeping playroom tidy
- Reading support (primarily mornings)
Experience of working with children as a carer or parent preferred. Reliable, trustworthy, caring and friendly but firm when need be. Parents both work from home and away on a variable basis.
More hours available for cleaning and/or ironing if this is of interest
